Kasha Patel is a stand-up comedienne, writer and on-screen personality based in Washington, DC and focuses her jokes on science and her life. She currently hosts a NASA mini TV/web series called "Earth Expeditions" that highlights how NASA studies Earth with boats, airplanes, and even dog sleds. She also produces and hosts Science Comedy night where only science-related jokes, stories, and songs are allowed.

Kasha hails from West Virginia, majored in chemistry at Wake Forest University (NC), and earned her Masters degree in Science Journalism at Boston University. Making her stand-up debut in Boston, Kasha has performed from coast to coast from San Francisco to New York City. She writes satire news articles for Learn about her daytime journalism work here.
